The 1 hour tour rides along the Confederate line out to the middle of the site of Pickett's Charge. The 1.5 hour tour will traverse the area of Pickett's charge and continue to the Emmitsburg Road. From there you have an amazing panoramic view that takes in the high-water mark, the Peach Orchard and the Round Tops. For the ultimate experience, our 2 hour tour crosses the Emmitsburg Road and reaches the Trostle farm, which was the headquarter for General Dan Sickles. Scenic Ride (1 hour, 1.5 hour and 2 hour)

The sun dapples the woodsy path as you ride horseback where the soldiers of the Confederacy once did the same. You'll ride behind the Virginia Monument (the area where General Robert E. Lee waited for his returning troops after Pickett's Charge). Then follow the path to the Spangler Farm and see a panoramic view of the Peach Orchard and Little Round Top off in the distance.

The 1 hour scenic rides along the Confederate Line out to the middle of the site of Pickett's Charge. The 1.5 hour scenic will traverse the area of Pickett's Charge and continue on to the Emmisttsburg Road. From there you have an amazing panoramic view of the high-water mark, the Peach Orchard and the Round Tops. On our 1 hour scenic rides, each guest enjoys a recorded narration of the battlefield (delivered by individual headset) while our experienced outriders guide your group along the horse trail. What a great way to see the Battlefield!

If you are joining us for the 1.5 hour scenic or the 2 hour scenic, you are welcome to use the recorded narration as well. Although the recording lasts for 60 minutes, the beauty of the battlefield will more than fill the rest of your scenic ride with the sounds of the birds and the stunning views of this now peaceful & tranquil area.
